Welcome to my Art website .
I was born in Denmark. At 13 my family and I came to Canada. In school I was always drawing women with different attire .It was thought that I would go into illustration or such-but as a new immigrant with little money we had to be practical. At 18 I became a hair stylist. I loved styling hair and enjoyed the people. I had my own Salon ,competed extensively and won many awards, In 2003 I retired from hair styling .
I started to paint and just loved it .I have explored all the mediums -each one has its charm.
I like painting children-people [ and maybe because of my background] I seem to be able to do it with ease. Animals are easy for me as well and fun . In the people and amimal pictures I like the actions or pose to tell a story and to reveal something about the subjects personality.

All the art is produced on professional backing[ canvas-watercolour paper or boards] and the best pigment is used so all the Art will last for decades if looked after.
Art is a good investment - be it a personal portrait of you or your loved ones ---a picture of you home or just a picture that really appealed to you, it usually increases in value.
I can Paint any picture you want,[ for you ],from a photo[or a combination of photos]---Portraits animals -Flowers-Scenery-Buildings --you name it, in the medium of your choice. I am comfortable with them all. Oil-Acrylic-Watercolour-Pastel. I can also paint the picture so that it will blend into your house colour scheme .I email you a sketch of the picture and a rough small colour picture for your approval or corrections before i paint.
Price depends on Size--How many on picture[portraits] and degree of work involved.
Some of the pictures for sale are available in prints as well.
Geclee is -[a strate of the art print with ink that last up to 100 years]
Some of the pictures have been scanned so any size of the picture [ or part of the picture ] can be ordered on either art paper or canvas.
Prints [ regular ink jet or lazer type] are also available on some of the pictures up to 11-17 size .only.
